Couples: motion isolation and edge support
How common builds behave so you can rank what matters for your household.
Motion isolation
Thick comfort layers plus pocket coils are a common sweet spot. All-foam memory foam is strongest here but can sleep warmer. Tied coils with thin comfort transfer more motion.
Edge support
Foam rails, firmer perimeter coils, or denser edge foam change how much the side collapses when you sit to put on socks. We note the firmness gap between edge and center.
Testing roadmap
